We are excited to welcome guest host John Nolan on accordion to our weekly session! John played in the group The Big Wheel with fiddler Pat Keogh, and later made a duet recording with Pat. In 1982, he returned from Listowel as the first American senior All-Ireland button accordion champion.

The ICC’s traditional Irish session in the Trinity Pub features talented musicians led by Ellen Redman and guest hosts each week from 6:30–9:00 pm. It is an enjoyable, authentic Irish pub evening to spend with friends and family of all ages. If you would like a dinner reservation, please call the pub directly at 413-342-4358. You are welcome to join us just for drinks or the “craic” as well. This evening is open to the public.

Dan Ringrose plays live Irish music at the ICC on Friday, May 30 from 6–9 pm. Dan was raised on the music of Irish folk legends The Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem. Come be inspired by the beautiful harmonies of the Earls and Pearls, a select group of vocalists from the former Dan Kane Singers. If you loved hearing them at our Tavern Carolers events, you will love them even more as they sing a collection of popular songs from across the decades. The Earls and Pearls have been performing in the greater Springfield area for many years at local town senior centers, summer town concerts, Irish concerts, Bishop Masses, and more. A delicious Specialty Summer BBQ Buffet created by Chef Anthony Padilla is included in ticket purchase.

The Piper-Hopkins Band plays at the ICC on Friday, June 27 from 6–9 pm. The Piper-Hopkins Band has Rhythm & Groove; the kinetic fusion of Blues, Rock, Reggae, R&B, Country, Folk, Jazz & Soul, played with a contagious intensity. An eclectic mixture of songs featuring soulful vocals and powerfully melodic guitar.

Jimmy McArdle, an original member of the Irish folk band The Bards, has performed with many well-known acts such as The Clancy Brothers and The Wolfe Tones. Jimmy continues to perform in Western MA, Cape Cod, and throughout the Boston area. He often teams up with the area’s finest musicians, including Holyoke’s accomplished accordion player Jerry Murphy.
